FAU ASME offers a review course for this examination during the fall and spring of each year. This course raises money for the club while preparing students and professionals for the exam.
Details about the current course can be found by visiting the link at the top. The courses generally start one week after the begining of the Fall and Spring semester at FAU (mid-August and mid-January).
To register, e-mail or call the ASME chair. Please come a few minutes early the first class, and make payments there.
We can only accept cash and check. Please bring any documentation (i.e. ASME membership card, current student ID) to the first class.
Principals and Practice (PE) Examinee Note:
Although we do not offer a "PE" Exam Review, we will offer the mechanical classes (Statics, Strength of Materials, Dynamics, Fluid Mechanics and Thermodynamics) to PE examanees.
This class will be offered at non-student rates only and will cost half of that which the examinee qualifies for under the FE price schedule.
At this time, we do not offer a "per class" price option.
Those interested in this should register and note that they will be attending only the mechanical classes.
We cannot guarantee that you will be completely prepared for the PE exam.
